FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which areas do you cover as a wedding florist?

We are based in County Durham and typically cover weddings in the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. We do however happily travel further afield across the UK and abroad, wherever your wedding may be!

How do we book you to be our wedding florist?

Take a look at our booking process here. The first step is to enquire and have a consultation with us, we will guide you through each step of the process. Please note your date is not secured until your 25% booking fee has been paid and your contract signed.

Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes our minimum spend for our wedding floral design service is £3,500. As a guide our couples typically spend an average of £4-7k.

What information do we need before we enquire with you?

The only things you need in order to enquire are your wedding date, venue, estimated budget and the love of your life. It’s okay if you’re not sure exactly what you’re after or haven’t decided on colours, that’s where we come in! We love designing for our couples and can suggest colour palettes and designs based what we think would work best with your venue, season and you as a couple.

What floral elements can you provide?

Everything you can imagine (we don’t however use fake flowers). We cover all elements of floral styling from bouquets and buttonholes to arches and hanging installations.

Do you provide any non-floral styling such as candles and linens?

We don’t (sorry). However, we know some wonderful stylists so please let us know if you would like any recommendations.

What happens to the flowers after the wedding?

All of the flowers are yours to keep if you wish. However all vases and vessels are provided on a hire only basis, so only the flowers can be taken. We will check with you prior to your wedding to see if you plan to take any flowers and we can provide a small number of jars for you to fill with flowers (you may wish to bring additional vases/jars if you would like to take a lot). Typically we have to ensure the venue is cleared early the next morning, so we do please ask that you can confirm if you would like to keep any flowers to make sure we haven’t already taken everything away when you come to collect them.

Another florist/our venue is doing the reception flowers are you able to do just the bridal party or ceremony?

Unfortunately not, we want to make sure all of the flowers are cohesive across your day and different florists can interpret the same brief in different ways. So to ensure your day looks and feels like the best celebration possible we do insist on being the only florist used.
